Four Advocates Become Judges in Telangana High Court, One in Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of several new judges to High Courts across India. This includes four new judges for the Telangana High Court and one for the Andhra Pradesh High Court. These appointments aim to improve court efficiency and help reduce the backlog of cases.

Telangana High Court Gets Four New Judges

  1. Ghous Meera Mohiuddin
    Born in 1969 in Hyderabad, he studied law in Nellore and earned a master’s degree from Osmania University. He became a lawyer in 1993 and has worked mainly on civil and constitutional cases. He has also been the legal counsel for the Telangana Bar Council.
  2. Suddala Chalapathi Rao
    Born in 1971 in Janagama, he started his legal career in 1998. He has experience in civil and criminal law and is currently the legal advisor for Jayashankar Agricultural University.
  3. Vakiti Ramakrishna Reddy
    Born in 1970 in Bhuvanagiri district, he comes from a farming background. After earning his law degree, he began practicing in 1998. He has worked on a wide range of legal matters including civil, criminal, family, tax, and service law. He has also been legal counsel for banks and companies.
  4. Gadi Praveen Kumar
    Born in 1971 in Nizamabad district, he studied at Osmania and Kakatiya Universities. He became a lawyer in 1999 and has handled constitutional, contract, labour, and criminal law cases. He is currently the Deputy Solicitor General and has represented many public sector organizations.

One New Judge for Andhra Pradesh High Court

Tuhin Kumar Gedela
From Parvathipuram Manyam district, Gedela studied law in Visakhapatnam. He became a lawyer in 1994 and has served as legal counsel for Guntur Municipal Corporation and other public offices. He is currently working for the Central ES Government.
